Akron Digestive Disease Consultants, Inc. is the premier gastroenterology practice in Northeast Ohio, caring for patients and their digestive health and disease. We are a physician owned practice.

Our Mission

The Physicians and Staff of Akron Digestive Disease Consultants are committed to providing outstanding personalized and timely digestive health care to our patients, as we prevent and treat digestive disease. We achieve this through:

Our Practice

Our practice currently has five physicians. All physicians are board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the specialty field of gastroenterology. Our physicians have acquired additional training and expertise in the fields of Liver Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Celiac Disease, Pill Camera Endoscopy, and Gastroesophageal Reflux disease.

Our clinicians provide care both in the outpatient and hospital setting. Our office is located in West Akron. The practice also provides indigent care to patients at the hospitals and through referrals from organizations such as Open M (Summit County Free Clinic) and Faithful Servants Care Center. The practice hosts patient education classes on-premises and has given guidance to local disease-based support groups.

In addition to patient care and education, the physicians participate in the education of medical students from NEOMED (Northeast Ohio Medical University) and residents at Summa Health. Our physicians have presented talks at numerous local physician education seminars. They also continue to assume leadership positions in local and national organizations involving our specialty.
