Hemorrhoid Banding

Get hemorrhoid relief with minimally invasive hemorrhoid banding from board-certified gastroenterologists.

How Hemorrhoid Banding Works

Hemorrhoid banding involves placing a small rubber band around a hemorrhoid to restrict its blood supply. The hemorrhoid then shrinks and eventually falls away. Akron Digestive Health uses a proprietary system that is a significant improvement over previous methods. Combined with our team’s 60 years of GI experience, this approach allows many hemorrhoids to be treated conveniently in our office without surgery.
